Swimming Pool Filters
Swimming Pool filters come in various shapes and sizes, but essentially they all do the same thing, they remove particles of 'dirt' from your pool or pond water. The filter 'keg' is filled with 'media' which is a silicone base sand gravel. In most case a multidirectional valve with feed the water from the pump [see our web page for swimming pool pumps] into the filter keg. The valve will also change water direction thus allowing the filter media to be cleaned.
